PREAMBLE
The website accessible at www.stendhalparis.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) is owned and published by the company HOTEL STENDHAL, a Simplified Joint-Stock Company (SAS) with a share capital of €140.00, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number B 315 605 972, whose registered office is located at 22 rue Danielle Casanova - 75002 Paris. Within the framework of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTCS”), Hotel Le Stendhal and the client are jointly referred to as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party”.
These GTCS apply to all reservations, regardless of the client’s country of origin and regardless of the currency used. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.
Hotel Le Stendhal reserves the right to amend these GTCS at any time. The GTCS applicable are those in force on the date the reservation is confirmed.
ARTICLE 1: DEFINITIONS
In these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the terms below shall have the following meanings:
• Confirmation Email: Email sent by Hotel Le Stendhal at the end of the reservation or ordering process. It summarizes the elements of the reservation validated by the Client and confirms receipt. This email constitutes definitive confirmation of the reservation.
• Reservation Confirmation: Electronic document summarizing the main characteristics of the services booked by the Client (room type, stay dates, additional services). Confirmation occurs after the Client enters their banking details for payment or guarantee, followed by final validation.
• Contract: Agreement entered into between the Client and Hotel Le Stendhal for the provision of the services actually ordered by the Client, including accommodation, possible catering and ancillary services.
• The Client: Any adult natural person with full legal capacity, contracting on a personal basis for private or professional needs, and having made a reservation at the establishment.
• Reservation Request: Expression of intent by the Client to reserve one or more rooms, made via mobile services, the internet, by telephone or by any other communication channel.
• Mobile Services: All technologies allowing Internet access from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet) to view and book the services offered by Hotel Le Stendhal.
• Online: Reservation made by the Client directly on the website www.stendhalparis.com including the selection of services and the entry of personal and banking information.
• Offline: Reservation made other than online, in particular by telephone or email, giving rise to a registration procedure in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
• The Hotel: Refers to the Le Stendhal establishment, located at 22 rue Daniel Casanova - 75002 Paris, offering in particular temporary accommodation services, catering and complementary services.
• Services: All services offered by Hotel Le Stendhal, including in particular room rental, breakfast provision, and any other service ancillary to temporary accommodation, the characteristics of which are detailed on the website www.stendhalparis.com, in accordance with Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code.
• Extras: Optional complementary services to the main reservation, such as private transfers, breakfast, a bottle of champagne, bouquet of flowers, etc., available for purchase before or during the stay.
• Website: Electronic service operated by Hotel Le Stendhal, accessible at www.stendhalparis.com allowing in particular the consultation of offers and the booking of services.
ARTICLE 2: SCOPE OF APPLICATION
2.1 Scope
2.1.1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all services offered by the Hotel on its Website, by email and by telephone, including in particular room reservations and complementary services related to temporary accommodation.
2.1.2. They govern all service reservation transactions carried out by the Client, whether online or through any other communication channel.
2.2 Territory
The services presented on the website are intended to be provided exclusively at the Le Stendhal establishment, located at 22 rue Daniel Casanova - 75002 Paris, to the exclusion of any other location.
2.3 Duration
2.3.1. These GTCS apply for the entire duration during which the Hotel’s services are available online on its Website.
2.3.2. The Hotel reserves the right to suspend or terminate, temporarily or permanently, access to its Website or its online booking area, without notice or compensation.
2.3.3. The Hotel shall not be held liable in the event of temporary or permanent unavailability of the Website or the online booking area, whatever the cause or duration.
2.4 Legal framework
2.4.1. These General Terms and Conditions are subject to the provisions of the French Consumer Code, in particular Articles L.121-16 et seq.
2.4.2. Any reservation, whether made Online (on the Website) or Offline (by telephone or email), is subject to full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions as well as the specific pricing conditions applicable to each service.
2.5 Purpose
2.5.1. The purpose of these GTCS is to define the rights and obligations of the Parties in the context of the reservation of services offered by the Hotel.
2.5.2. They govern all steps necessary for placing, managing, monitoring, modifying and validating reservations.
ARTICLE 3: CAPACITY AND ACCEPTANCE BY THE CLIENT
3.1 No right of withdrawal
The Client does not benefit from any right of withdrawal when purchasing a stay, whether Online or Offline. In accordance with Article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts relating to accommodation services, other than for residential purposes.
Any cancellation request will therefore be subject to the specific conditions of the reservation, which the Client must review beforehand.
3.2 Legal capacity
The Client declares that they have full legal capacity to contract, that they are of legal age under French law, and that they are not subject to any measure of legal protection, such as guardianship or curatorship.
The Client undertakes to use the Hotel’s Website in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS), both on their own behalf and on behalf of the Beneficiaries of the services they have ordered on the Hotel’s Website, acting as agent (hereinafter the “Beneficiaries”). They acknowledge that these GTCS also apply to the Beneficiaries.
The Client assumes financial responsibility for the use of the Hotel’s Website, whether on their own behalf or on behalf of the Beneficiaries, unless they can prove that fraudulent use occurred without fault or negligence on their part.
The Client guarantees the accuracy and truthfulness of the information provided, both for themselves and for the Beneficiaries using their data on the Hotel’s Website.
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse any contractual relationship with a Client who makes fraudulent use of the Hotel’s Website or who fails to comply with these GTCS.
It is hereby recalled that, in accordance with Article 313-1 of the French Penal Code:
"Fraud consists of deceiving a natural or legal person, either by using a false name or false status, by abusing a true status, or by using fraudulent maneuvers, in order to induce them to hand over funds, property or a service, or to consent to an act creating obligations or releases. Fraud is punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of €375,000."
The Hotel reserves the right to request, upon the Client’s arrival, an official identity document including in particular the date of birth.
3.3 Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The Client acknowledges that these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) form an integral part of the contract concluded with the Hotel.
3.4 Presentation of contractual documents
The Client agrees that the GTCS, the documents presenting the services and specific rates, as well as the ordering procedures, are presented to them online on the Hotel’s Website for the purpose of concluding the contract.
3.5 Prior information
The Client declares that, before validating any reservation, they obtained all necessary information on the services offered, either via the Hotel’s Website or from the establishment’s staff (by telephone, email or in person).
3.6 Consultation and acceptance
The Client acknowledges having read and accepted these GTCS as well as all the terms of the commercial offer before finalizing their reservation.
Any reservation validation, whether carried out Online or Offline, necessarily implies prior consultation and unreserved acceptance of these GTCS.
3.7 Electronic signature
The Client expressly agrees that entering their banking information, accepting the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) and validating the reservation constitute an electronic signature within the meaning of Article 1367 of the French Civil Code (formerly Article 1316-4), having, between the Parties, the same legal value as a handwritten signature.
3.8 Personal use
The Client declares that they make any reservation for their personal needs and not for resale or subletting purposes.
3.9 Consultation and archiving
The Client may consult, download and print these GTCS at any time via the Hotel’s Website, in particular in the dedicated “General Terms and Conditions of Sale” section.
3.10 Completion of administrative documents
Upon arrival, the Client and their accompanying persons are required, upon presentation of their identity document, to complete a registration form and, where applicable, an individual police form, in accordance with Article R. 611-42 of the Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners.
ARTICLE 4: WEBSITE CONTENT
4.1. Information published on the Website
The Hotel’s Website provides, in particular:
The complete identification of the company HOTEL STENDHAL SAS (company name, registered office address, email address).
• The essential characteristics of the accommodation offered: (available in the “Our Rooms & Suites” section AND during the booking process via the availability calendar and room selection).
Note: photographs are non-contractual: decoration, layout and room dimensions may vary within the establishment.
• The rates applied for each accommodation service and complementary services.
• Accepted payment methods.
• The General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
• The validity period of offers and their rates.
• The minimum length of stay, if applicable.
• The absence of a right of withdrawal and, where applicable, the cancellation terms.
4.2. Available languages
The website is available in French and English.
ARTICLE 5: RESERVATIONS
5.1. Online booking procedures
The Client selects the services offered on the Hotel’s Website, with or without additional services (“Extras”), at clearly displayed rates.
The Client acknowledges having read all useful information before booking.
The Client is solely responsible for the choice of services and their suitability to their needs. The Hotel cannot be held liable in this respect.
The reservation is deemed accepted once the Client clicks “Confirm Reservation”.
5.2. Online booking process
• Selection of the number of adult(s) ;
• Selection of the number of child(ren) ;
• Optional entry of a promo code ;
• Selection of arrival and departure dates in the calendar ;
• Display of availability ;
• Choice of room, rates and any Additional Services ;
• Display of the reservation summary ;
• Entry of personal information (identity, email, phone, etc.) ;
• Validation of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the privacy policy ;
• Possibility to indicate special requests (not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by the Hotel) ;
• Secure online payment and immediate confirmation with reservation number.
5.3. Offline booking procedures
The Client communicates their needs to the Hotel staff (stay dates, number of people), who provides the offers, rooms, rates and services available according to the stated criteria.
The Client selects the services offered by the Hotel staff, with or without additional services (“Extras”), at rates clearly communicated by the staff.
The Client acknowledges having read all useful information before booking.
The Client is solely responsible for the choice of services and their suitability to their needs. The Hotel cannot be held liable in this respect.
The reservation is deemed accepted once the Client has made partial or full payment for the reservation.
5.4. Offline booking process
• Reservation Request by the Client with :
o Communication of the desired arrival and departure dates ;
o Communication of the number of adult(s) and child(ren) ;
o Communication of special requests (not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by the Hotel) ;
• Preparation of an Offer by the Hotel with :
o Proposal of available rooms ;
o Communication of prices and their available rate conditions ;
• Confirmation by the Client of their choice(s) ;
• Communication by the Client of the personal information necessary to process the reservation (identity, email, phone, etc.) ;
• Sending of an Offer to the Client, by email and valid for 24 hours, containing :
o A reservation summary ;
o The pro forma invoice for the stay ;
o A hyperlink to these GTCS ;
o A secure online payment link (3D-Secure).
• Sending of the Reservation Confirmation to the Client after payment is accepted.
5.5. Sales conditions for rates
• Flexible Rate - Booking of one (1) to four (4) nights
Payment of a Security Deposit in an amount corresponding to the first night (excluding additional services and tourist tax) is required to confirm the reservation.
Cancellation is free of charge, with a full refund of the security deposit, up to 3:00 p.m. (French time) two (2) days before the scheduled arrival date.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation at the Flexible Rate after this deadline, whatever the reason, the amount committed (excluding additional services and tourist tax) will be retained by the Hotel and charged to the Client as damages, in compensation for the loss suffered.
• Semiflex Rate - Booking of five (5) nights or more
Payment of a Security Deposit corresponding to 30% of the total amount of the stay (excluding additional services and tourist tax), made via a 3D-Secure banking system, is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
Cancellation is free of charge, with a full refund of the security deposit, up to 3:00 p.m. (French time) three (3) days before the scheduled arrival date.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation at the Semiflex Rate after this deadline, whatever the reason, the amount committed (excluding additional services and tourist tax) will be retained by the Hotel and charged to the Client as damages, in compensation for the loss suffered.
• Non-Refundable Rate - No restriction on number of nights
A deposit corresponding to 100% of the total amount of the stay (excluding additional services and tourist tax), made via a 3D-Secure banking system, is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation at the Non-Refundable Rate, whatever the reason, the amount corresponding to 100% of the total stay (excluding additional services and tourist tax) will be retained by the Hotel and charged to the Client as damages, in compensation for the loss suffered.
• “Last Minute” Web Offer - Booking of one (1) to four (4) nights
A deposit corresponding to 100% of the total amount of the stay (excluding additional services and tourist tax), made via a 3D-Secure banking system, is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation at the “Last Minute” Web Offer, whatever the reason, the amount corresponding to 100% of the total stay (excluding additional services and tourist tax) will be retained by the Hotel and charged to the Client as damages, in compensation for the loss suffered.
• Rates including breakfast (Flexible B&B, Semiflex B&B and Non-Refundable B&B)
For any reservation including breakfast, services not consumed shall not give rise to any rate adjustment and/or refund.
5.6. Booking of four (4) rooms or more
The Client may book a maximum of three (3) rooms on the Hotel’s Website. For any booking of a higher number of rooms, or for any other service request not appearing on the Website, we invite you to contact the Hotel directly.
In the event of booking four (4) rooms or more, specific “group” sales conditions may apply, involving in return the payment of a deposit by the Client and the application of specific cancellation and modification conditions. For any information in this regard, please contact the Hotel.
5.7. Formation of the Contract
The Contract is concluded:
• After the Client’s express acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and validation of their reservation.
• When the reservation is confirmed by the Hotel with the assignment of a reservation number.
A confirmation email is sent to the Client, summarizing all elements of the reservation.
5.8. Modification of the Contract
Any request for modification must be made in writing and sent to the Hotel. It shall be deemed accepted only upon the Client’s receipt of written confirmation issued by the Hotel.
Any extension of stay will be subject to the same sales conditions accepted at the time of the initial reservation, and will be charged at the rate in force on the date the modification request is made.
5.9. Cancellation of the Contract
Any cancellation request must be made in writing and sent to the Hotel. It shall be deemed accepted only upon the Client’s receipt of written confirmation issued by the Hotel, in accordance with the sales conditions accepted at the time of the reservation.
For security reasons, you may be asked to confirm your first and last name, email address, telephone number and stay dates.
In the event of cancellation AND where applicable in accordance with the sales conditions applicable to the reservation, any full or partial payment made will be refunded within 48 hours following the cancellation confirmation issued by the Hotel, after deduction of any cancellation fees.
Any refund is made using the same payment method as the original one.
Reservations indicated as Non-Refundable will not be eligible for a refund.
5.10. Early Departure
In the event of interruption of the stay, the amount of the night of the day and of the day following the early departure will be charged, without entitlement to a refund or any credit note or exchange for the Client as financial compensation for the loss suffered.
In the case of a reservation with full payment during the booking process, no refund will be granted as a result.
5.11. Late check-out
Unless a special arrangement is granted by the Hotel, the room must be vacated no later than 12:00 p.m. Beyond this time, a surcharge of €80 will be applied per commenced hour, up to 3:00 p.m. After this time, an additional night will be charged at the rate in force.
5.12. Named reservations
Reservations are personal and may not be assigned.
5.13. Additional note
In the event of a dispute with a Client regarding a reservation and/or a past stay, the Hotel reserves the right to refuse any new reservation request and/or cancel a reservation made by the same Client.
ARTICLE 6: RATES & PRICING CONDITIONS
6.1. Display of rates
Prices relating to the booking of services are indicated before and during the booking process.
They are valid in real time in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 5.2 for Online bookings and Article 5.3 for Offline bookings.
Specific pricing conditions applicable to each room type or complementary service are specified when the Client selects the service.
6.2. Pricing of services
Service prices are established according to the economic conditions in force at the time rates are defined and are expressed in euros (€).
The Hotel reserves the right to change prices at any time before the reservation is confirmed.
Prices may be revised after the reservation, in particular due to variations in occupancy, new fees or taxes applied to services, or changes in exchange rates.
However, once the reservation is confirmed, no price change may be applied to the stay price up to the departure date.
6.3. Application of rates
Prices are per room, for the number of people and for the selected date(s).
Unless a specific supplement is purchased, the stay includes by default:
• Taking possession of the room (check-in) from 2:00 p.m.,
• Vacating the room (check-out) no later than 12:00 p.m.
• Upon arrival, a bank pre-authorization of €150 as well as a valid identity document for each occupant will be required.
If departure is not carried out in the presence of the client, the establishment reserves the right to charge the bank card left on file at check-in.
6.4. Applicable taxes
Prices are in euros (€) and all taxes included (incl. VAT) at the rate in force on the day the reservation is confirmed.
Any change in the applicable VAT rate will be automatically reflected in the displayed prices.
6.5. Payments in foreign currencies
If payment is made in a currency other than that of the establishment’s country, any conversion or bank processing fees will be borne exclusively by the Client.
6.6. Currency of payment
All reservations are invoiced and payable in euros (€), unless expressly stated otherwise during the booking process.
6.7. Additional services
Unless specifically stated, additional services (“extras”) selected by the Client are not included in the initial room price.
Certain complementary services validated at the time of booking may be due immediately if the selected rate is not a Flexible or Semiflex rate.
These services are also subject to VAT at the rate applicable on the booking date.
6.8. Tourist tax
The tourist tax, set by the City of Paris and the Île-de-France Region, applies per day and per adult.
It is payable directly on site during the stay, and its amount may change without notice.
6.9. Change in taxation
Any change in the applicable VAT rate between the booking date and the date the stay (and additional services) is consumed will be automatically applied to the invoiced rates.
6.10. Rate variations due to exchange rates
When the rate must be paid on site in local currency, differences may arise compared to the rate initially communicated at the time of booking due to exchange rate variations between the booking date and the stay date.
6.11. Damage and theft
Any missing item noted in the room will be charged to the Client at the rate in force, available upon request at reception.
In the event of damage to the room, common areas or equipment, the Hotel reserves the right to charge the Client the full cost of repairs and/or replacements required.
In the event of non-compliance with the prohibition on smoking/vaping in the room, the Hotel reserves the right to retain the €150 bank pre-authorization made at check-in as restoration fees.
ARTICLE 7: PAYMENT
The Hotel’s Website uses some of the most advanced current Internet security technologies.
All booking steps are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, the reference technology in this field.
Your information is encrypted and protected through server authentication and data flow encryption.
The Security Certificate used is issued by the accredited third-party company SystemPay by Lyra and used by our D-Edge booking system and our Medialog hotel management software.
In addition, our booking system is hosted in a secure server environment equipped with biometric security, firewalls and other advanced technologies to avoid interference and prevent any intrusion.
7.1. Online payment
For a rate subject to full or partial online payment, the charge is made when the Client completes the reservation, via a secure computerized process.
At the time of online payment, the amount charged includes the accommodation price and the corresponding taxes.
Any additional service or “Extra” reserved and provided by the Hotel during the Client’s stay, and not paid in advance at the time of booking, must be paid no later than the day of departure.
7.2. Reservation guarantee
The Client pays the security deposit or down payment via the booking engine (Online) or via a secure payment link sent by email (Offline), and the entry of payment information is secured by SSL encryption.
Under no circumstances will the Hotel or its staff request the Client’s bank card security code (CVV), except for additional service booking requests made by the Hotel or its staff, in the name and on behalf of the Client with a third-party merchant (restaurant, tourist site, etc.) requiring the disclosure of this information.
7.3. Payment at the Hotel
Any remaining balance must be paid directly at the Hotel during the stay, except under conditions or special rates providing for full payment at the time of booking. In this case, payment is made in accordance with the contractual conditions previously accepted by the Client.
7.4. Bank card verification
Our provider SystemPay by Lyra, chosen by the Hotel to secure online payments, performs a verification of the validity of the Client’s bank card. If the card is declined for any reason (stolen card, blocked card, limit reached, entry error, etc.), the Client must contact their bank to identify the cause of the problem, then contact the establishment to confirm their reservation and payment method.
7.5. Bank pre-authorization at check-in
At check-in, a bank pre-authorization of €150 per room will be requested as a guarantee.
This pre-authorization will not be charged, except in the event of damage, unpaid amounts, or non-compliance with the prohibition on smoking/vaping in the room.
The pre-authorization will be released after verification of the good condition of the room and accounts.
7.6. Invoicing at the end of the stay
After the stay, an invoice will be drawn up in duplicate by the Hotel. One copy will be given to the Client upon departure, either in paper form or by email, at their choice.
7.7. Advance payment for high amounts
If the amount of the Client’s bill exceeds €5,000 during their stay and payment has not been made online, the Hotel may require advance payment for services provided during the stay, in accordance with the procedures set out in this article.
7.8. Refusal of payment by check
Payment by check is not accepted, whether for accommodation or any other service or product provided by the Hotel to the Client.
ARTICLE 8: COMPLAINTS
8.1. Complaint procedure

8.2. Conformity guarantee
The Hotel is bound by the conformity guarantee of services, under the conditions set out in Article L. 111-2 of the French Consumer Code, without prejudice to any additional contractual guarantee that may be agreed in writing between the parties, outside these general terms and conditions.
8.3. Accuracy of information
The Hotel endeavors to ensure that the photographs, graphic representations and texts provided give as accurate an overview as possible of the services offered.
However, photographs are non-contractual, as different rooms, although in the same rate category, may have different dimensions and variations in furniture, decoration or renovations.
Unless a specific request for a particular room has been confirmed in writing, the Client may not make any claim regarding these variations, provided that they do not concern the essential characteristics of the service.
8.4. Liability in case of force majeure
The Hotel cannot be held liable for failure or improper performance of the reservation in the event of force majeure, an act of a third party, the Client or its partners, such as the unavailability of the internet network, inability to access the website, external intrusions, computer viruses, or in the event of online payment being refused by the Client’s bank.
8.5. Internet access
Although the Hotel provides internet access via Wi-Fi, in the event of failure of this service (total or partial), not attributable to the establishment, during the stay, the Client will not be able to cancel the reservation, obtain a refund or compensation.
8.6. Liability for indirect damages
The Hotel shall incur no liability for indirect or intangible damages, such as loss of profit, loss of business, or any damage resulting from an act of a third party, the Client or its partners.
8.7. Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks on the Website may lead to certain sites not managed by the Hotel. As such, the Hotel cannot be held responsible for the content of these sites or the services they offer.
8.8. Safe and valuables
The Client undertakes to use the in-room safe for all valuables and sums of money with a value of less than or equal to €3,000. For valuables or sums of money with a value greater than €3,000, these may be deposited in the Hotel’s central safe.
8.9. Relocation in case of an issue
In the event of a problem affecting the reserved room (such as unforeseen breakdowns, significant damage, or other urgent situations), the Hotel reserves the right to relocate the Client to another establishment or an equivalent room within a reasonable timeframe.
The Client will be informed as soon as possible and will be assisted by the Hotel to minimize any inconvenience. The Hotel undertakes to offer a satisfactory alternative solution at no additional cost to the Client, except in exceptional circumstances.
ARTICLE 9: MEDIATOR
In accordance with the provisions of Articles L. 611-1 and R. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code concerning amicable dispute resolution, when the consumer has sent a written complaint to the professional and has not obtained satisfaction or a reply within two months, they may submit their complaint free of charge to the consumer mediator.

ARTICLE 10: ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PLATFORM
In accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, we inform the Client that they have the possibility to lodge a complaint on the online dispute resolution platform set up by the European Commission (ODR platform).

ARTICLE 11: DATA PROCESSING, FREEDOM AND PRIVACY, IMAGE RIGHTS
11.1. Data collection
The information requested during the secure booking process is mandatory (indicated by an asterisk) to enable the Hotel, as data controller, and its service providers (payment, online booking, customer relations) to process the order, manage the customer database and send the newsletter.
The Client may choose to receive special offers and information on new Hotel services by email. They may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the dedicated link in the email.
The information collected is retained in accordance with applicable legislation.
The Client has the right to access, rectify, object to and erase information concerning them by contacting contact@stendhalparis.com.
11.2. Telephone solicitation
The Client agrees that the Hotel may collect their telephone data for the proper performance of services.
In accordance with Law No. 2014-344 of March 17, 2014, the Client may register free of charge on the BLOCTEL telephone solicitation opt-out list (www.bloctel.gouv.fr).
11.3. Image rights
Booking nights and/or additional services at the establishment does not confer any right to audiovisual recording, filming or photography on the Hotel’s premises, including rooms, for commercial, promotional, advertising or press relations purposes.
Any filming or reproduction of the establishment’s premises for public purposes is subject to the prior authorization of the Hotel Management, failing which penalties for infringement may apply, in accordance with the French Intellectual Property Code.
ARTICLE 12: MISCELLANEOUS
12.1. Applicable law
These general terms and conditions are governed by French law.
12.2. Validity of provisions
If any provision of these terms and conditions is declared null and void, it shall be deemed unwritten, without affecting the validity of the other provisions.
12.3. Non-smoking
The entire establishment, both common areas and rooms, is non-smoking.
In the event of non-compliance with the prohibition on smoking/vaping in the room, the Hotel reserves the right to retain the €150 bank pre-authorization made at check-in as restoration fees.
12.4. Pets
Certain decorative items in the rooms may be purchased. If an item is taken away by mistake, the Hotel will charge the Client’s bank card according to the rates available at reception.
12.5. Video surveillance
The Client declares that they have been informed of the implementation within the Hotel of a video protection system declared to the CNIL and indicated by an information sign located at the entrance of the establishment, the purpose of which is the security and protection of persons and property.
The Client declares that they have been informed that the Hotel Management reserves the right to keep recordings for one month and that they may be viewed in the event of an incident by the Hotel Management and by law enforcement.
To exercise their data protection rights, in particular their right of access to images concerning them, or for any information about this system, the Client may contact the Hotel by email at direction@stendhalparis.com.
12.6. Accessibility
The Hotel does not have access for wheelchair users. For other disability situations, we invite the Client to contact the Hotel staff to inform us of their needs at the time of booking.
